Today's blog post is so special to me! Scott and Molly are dear friends and I was so excited to get the chance to photograph them and their sweet little girl. Miss Mackenzie is actually about 2 months old, which just goes to show that it's never too late to have a newborn session! Typically my newborn sessions are within the first 2 weeks after birth, however sometimes due to scheduling and of course the current pandemic, that might not happen and that's okay! It is so fun to have a newborn shoot when the baby is a little bit older because they are more interactive and really start to engage with the world and their parents!

Kenzie's nursery is so dreamy with beige painted walls with ivory and pink accents throughout. There were so many cute details in her nursery which made it so fun to photograph. I love to take a few detail shots to set the scene and capture all the little accents, which the parents probably spent months decorating and getting ready for their little one!

I had so much fun with this shoot and I hope you enjoy as well! Watercolor art of animals wearing flower crowns? Yes please. Feel free to save this post for nursery inspiration because it's just so perfect!
