Hello friends!

Happy New Year!!! This is my first blog of 2021 and it is a good one! I'm going to be talking all about Aesop's Fable of Holliston! Aesop's Fable is a quaint book store located right on Route 16 (Washington Street) behind the craft beer store, Crafted! Aesop's Fable is an amazing local business that curates a unique collection of books and emphasizes promoting local authors.

I was lucky enough to chat with Leah, co-owner of Aesop's Fable and talk all about her and her husband Andrew's business as well as how the pandemic has affected their store. Leah and Andrew are long time readers and book collectors. They have always wanted to open a bookstore and when a career change occurred 2 years ago they decided it was time to officially make that dream a reality! Their 2 year anniversary is actually coming up next weekend during the Martin Luther King Junior Day long weekend! In her spare time Leah enjoys reading of course, but also spending time in her garden, baking or taking nature walks with her husband and 3 kids!

I have been so inspired by how small business owners are continuing to adapt to the pandemic and keep their businesses alive and well. In response to the pandemic Aesop's Fable offers in person and online shopping as well as order pick-up which is really convenient. Before the global pandemic Aesop's Fable hosted lots of popular events with local authors, literacy workshops, adult and kid's book clubs as well as storytime! They hope to continue these events when it is deemed safe to do so!

If you are looking for your next new book you can't go wrong shopping at Aesop's Fable. They also offer so much more than books. They have gift cards, puzzles, candles, Legos, face masks, book bags, clothing, cards and more! Did I also mention that there is a whole Harry Potter section? You heard me right. Potterheads will love perusing through this section and finding fun themed candles, spell decks and more.

I had a blast photographing inside the bookstore because there were so many details to capture. A bookstore is quite unique and I love that I was able to capture the beauty of a family owned bookstore with this photo shoot.

If you want to learn more about Aesop's Fable you can head on over to their website! They are also on Instagram and Facebook! You might want to stay tuned for some specials they have coming up for their 2 year anniversary!
